Q: I receive a utility bill from the City of Owasso, how do I activate my new account so I can access and/or pay my bill?
A: Click 'activate your account here' on the Login Screen as shown in the SAMPLE SCREEN below.
 
Q: What information do I need to have with me in order to open a new online account to pay my utility bill?
A: You need to have your bill with you to enter your correct account number, your name and your Service Address EXACTLY as it appears on your bill.  Please be prepared to type in a valid Email address, username and password as well as to provide a security question and answer in case you lose your password.
 
Q: How do I  change my personal account information, such as username, password or security question?

A: Two steps are required:

1.    Login to your account

2.    Then click on 'I Want To... , Submit, My Personal Information' as seen in the SAMPLE SCREEN below

 
 
Q: What if I forgot my username or password?
A: Click on 'I forgot my username or password' link on the Log In screen.  Please note: you must provide your Email address associated with the existing account, which is case-sensitive.  You must also be able to provide your answer (also case-sensitive) to your secret question.  See below for example.
 
In the above example, John Doe receives an error because he did not type in the Email address the same way he did when he set up the account.
In the below example, John Doe enters it correctly and is asked for his secret answer, which is case-sensitive.
 

If you correctly enter the information required then you will see the following screen.  You will receive your login information via the Email address you supplied.  We highly recommend that you follow the FAQ on this screen for changing your password for your security.
 
Q: Does the website store my credit card information for recurring payments?
A: No.  The website does not store your personal credit card information for your security.  If you would like information on creating recurring payments (Automatic Payments), please click Contact Us above or see 'What are my payment options?' link below.

Q: Can I process my payment by check or Discover card through eGov?
A: No.  eGov currently only processes Visa and MasterCard transactions.  See 'What are my payment options?' link above.
 
Q: What is the payment posting cutoff time?
A: 5:00pm during the normal work week.  We accept payments 24/7, but payments made after the cutoff will be posted the following normal business day.  However, a pending payment will show on your online account.  Please call us at (918) 376-1521 during normal business hours if you are concerned about making a deadline to prevent a service interruption.
 
Q:  What happens to my account if I move to another Owasso service address?
A:  You must register again when you move from one Owasso service address to another.
